The kids involved in the execution of this juicy project ranged in age from 4 - 9 years old, and we wanted to include everyone possible in parts of the project. I put together a short ‘ground school’ to try to expand on the various conversations we’d all had in the days and weeks leading up to the launch.
While the little kids helped assemble the dozen Robertas, the older cousins volunteered for various roles - each with a defined set of pre-launch and launch day responsibilities.
Checklists were built and rehearsals walked through (can you tell we’re former military parents?), so everyone could understand what was going to happen and when.
